For medication and living expenses

We really need a miracle. This started years ago in Hamilton and due to numerious health issues David was told by his Doctor in Jarvis years ago not to work anymore. Dave was deturmined that this was not the life he wanted for us, he wanted to work. He looked for work he thought he could do, found a job to doing formal trade in Toronto. When we moved to Toronto he got a NEW awesome doctor who has done everything he can to try to empower Dave to keep going. He was working fifty hour weeks.
The business he was working for sold.  This was the beginning of his current health issues. He was so sick the first day under the new owner, that he couldn't physically make it until the end of his shift. He went straight to his Doctor who wrote him off work for a week. He was dismissed, without cause, upon his return.

It gets worse. A lot worse.  He has spent the last year in and out of Hospital and when not in Hospital he was consistantly still looking for work. He has interviewed in both Brampton and St Catharines. Unfortunately his Employment Insurance is COMPLETELY EXHAUSTED and including costs and fees we are behind close to $4,000 in rent. We have already been to the Tenant Tribunal and the best deal possible that we could make, going in without any money, is to have a zero balence by October 31st. If we fail to do so the landlord can advance directly for a Balif order to remove. We will be then living on the streets with our three dogs and two cats. I am looking to borrow a tent. We have had no money for Dave's medication either, which has contributed to why he is in Hospital again. Trying to work a 4 hour side job Saturday put him in Emerg. We have been living off the local foodbank. We obviously have been robbing Peter to pay Paul for quite some time. We owe our Pharmacy $600, and his Trillium Drug Copay is $500 a quarter based on last years income. We filed a change of circumstance and it got "lost" The hospital is helping us to file again.
The bottom line is Dave can no longer work in addition to his lung and curculation problems that have had him in Hospital 7 weeks total in the last year, this admission they did a MRI and he has degenerative disks in his spine, one has a bone fragment sticking out that is pressing on the nerves for his left side and it is inoperable. This is causing him a lot of pain and left side weakness. He feels he is completly broken, physically, mentally and emotionally. That is why he has me writing for him. We are also 12 days from the street, he feels he has failed in every way imaginable. People have been suggesting crowd funding for a while now, but with his pending interviews and offers it was his plan to continue to work.
My doctor suggested Legal Aide but this is pretty cut and dried we owe this money and we signed on the dotted line to pay. I did agree to see a social worker at his clinic trained in our atypical situation.
We are looking to cover Dave's medication costs and rent and other expenses while waiting to be approved for disability
