For friends in Myanmar affected by COVID-19
Donation protected
In 2016 during a trip to Yangon, Myanmar, my family and I had the honor to meet U Sanda, a teacher at the Nga Htet kyi pagoda compound, and Maung Myot, who volunteers with them. We were welcomed into their space, offered food and tea, while they shared their teachings with us, showing us a path towards light and peace. This week, Maung reached out for support on behalf of his community, which has been severely affected by COVID-19. The monastery is currently composed of a total of 335 monks, nuns, novices, and orphans. Several of them have fallen ill, including U Sanda, who has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently hospitalized. We are therefore asking for donations to cover medications, bills, food, and supplies for the whole community. The funds will be directly transferred to them and used according to their needs, any amount will be greatly appreciated and none is too small. With much love, we thank you in advance for your support during these challenging times.
