We recently lost a dear colleague. He was witty, smart, and kind. He never hesitated to offer his help and we are all so grateful that we had the opportunity to know him and work with him.
We will provide all the funds collected to his family. We understand that no material and monetary thing will ever be able to alleviate the suffering and pain. But we hope that through the act of reaching out, we can all find solace through compassion and community.

3. My relationship to the parties you're raising funds for: Darko was working in my group and I'm raising funds for his family who he left behind
4. How the funds will be used (be specific as possible): The fund will be given for his family to help defray the cost of funeral and living expenses
5. If you intend to withdraw the money, how you plan to send the funds to the parties you're raising money for or use the money on their behalf: I have obtained the permission from the family to withdraw the fund because it's difficult for them to retrieve the money (they're in a different country) and I will wire the family the fund.
