Help Haneen’s Family Escape Tragedies of Gaza

My name is Haneen Shehada. I was born and raised in Gaza where I graduated pharmacy school then got married in March of 2023 and moved out of the country. My family and I have lived through all wars together except this one. They say this one is different and I am lucky to be away during this time. Our home has been destroyed many times before and we were able to fix it but this time it is completely gone. My family has lost everything and is living just like the rest of Gazans in tents. They’ve been displaced over 20 times and are currently in Deir Al Balah. Our family cat has been with my parents the whole time even though they haven’t even been able to feed themselves, they weren’t able to find it in their hearts to get rid of him. The guilt I feel for being safe while I don’t know if my family will be alive every time I try to reach them gets worse and worse by the day. Please help me get my mother (Ghada Sabbah 52-teacher), father (Ahmad Shehada 58-retired charge nurse) and older brother (Hamza Shehada 28-recent health management graduate) to safety in Egypt. The cost of each person to get into Egypt is 7,000. I am looking for the cost to cover the entrance into Egypt ($21,000) and cover some costs of finding a small place to live and at least have a bed to sleep on and enough food to last a little while until they can find some sort of opportunity to work. My husband and I are still working on getting our degrees adjusted to be able to work in the US which as you know is a timely process. I never thought I’d be pleading for help from the world. Being far from my family is extremely difficult but I cannot live with myself if God forbid something happens to them and I never tried getting them out to safety.
