October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We are raising awareness here at Fontbonne and raising money for the Ellie Fund. The Ellie Fund provides essential support services for local breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing.

Services include:

Nutritional and grocery assistance

Prepared/delivered meals

Transportation to and from medical appointments

Light housekeeping

Childcare reimbursement

Integrative therapies (Metastatic Breast Cancer Support Program only)

Because of your support, the Ellie Fund can continue to provide assistance to breast cancer patients like Jessica, a 43-year-old woman with metastatic breast cancer who said to us:
