Fontana Family Crisis Support

We are a family in crisis. On Sept 5 2016 my fiance suffered a cardiac arrest while seven months pregnant with our fourth child. She was revived multiple times and rushed to the hospital, where emergency surgery was done to save both her and the baby. They were put on life support and survived. As a result of no oxygen to her brain Jamie suffered a traumatic brain injury, she could not walk or talk and had zero memory past or present. Baby Piper is doing fine and with the help of early intervention is coming along just fine. It's been 16 months and Jamie is home now after a long stay at JFK hospital brain trauma unit in Edison and Hartwick rehab. She cannot be left alone and although she is walking and talking she is 100 % disabled mentally and requires direction and supervision 24 hours a day. I am left to care for her as well as our 4 small children ages 6 through 16 months. It has been a long journey, but much progress has been made. We have exhausted all our finances and have incurred a pile of bills and debt over the past 16 months. I am physically, mentally, emotionally and financially exhausted. I can no longer do this alone. I am asking for your help in hopes of being able to meet the demands of the crisis we are living in. My hope is with your help i will be able to secure a home health aid or someone to care for Jamie and the children so I can return to work and get back to providing for my family.
