AL-KAFAAT - Fond d'Urgence (LIBAN - LEBANON)

J’ai connu mon amie libanaise, Myriam Shwayri, en 1988 au lycée à Lyon . Quelques années plus tard, je suis allée chez elle, au Liban, où j’ai découvert le travail incroyable de la Fondation AL-KAFAAT créée par ses parents en 1957 pour aider les plus démunis.
Aujourd’hui, le Liban est dans une situation financière catastrophique et Myriam lance un appel à l'aide. La courte vidéo ci-dessus explique la situation.
C'est la première fois que je m'investis dans un tel projet, mais il y a urgence. Beaucoup de libanais défavorisés dépendent de la Fondation AL-KAFAAT et nous devons agir.

I met my Lebanese friend Myriam Shwayri at school in Lyon, in 1988. Few years later, I visited her in Lebanon where I discovered the incredible work of the AL-KAFAAT Foundation, created by her parents in 1957 to help the most disadvantaged.
Today Lebanon is in dire financial straits and Myriam called out for help. The short video listed above explains the situation.
This is the first time that I get involved in such a project, but there is an emergency. Many severely challenged people depend on the AL-KAFAAT Foundation and we must act.
