Folk Music Notebook is a 24/7 Internet radio channel devoted to promoting the work of the contemporary folk music community as well as honoring traditional artists who planted the seeds and perpetuated folk traditions. Our hosts and programs include some of the finest folk shows from across the country.
Since the Covid19 pandemic, our resources have been seriously impacted - independent artists, festivals and venues are still struggling and no longer have the funds to advertise on the channel. In order to continue our operations, we are seeking funds to help us pay the rights fees for playing music (Soundexchange, ASCAP, BMI, SESAC among others). Our operational costs also need to be maintained to continue to provide our around the clock programming. Support will help insure our continued broadcasts and help us continue to grow. In our first two years, we have received overwhelmingly positive reviews from listeners as well as awards for our service.
We are grateful for your support, understanding that during this pandemic money is tight for all, but your help will keep FOLK MUSIC NOTEBOOK operating and bringing great and often undiscovered music to listeners worldwide.
Please note, we are an LLC , donations are not tax deductible. We are a small business with no paid employees, all funds raised go to the operation of this channel
