It's not always easy to know what to say when someone is sick and how to ask for help, but sometimes this is a necessary part in life. We are reaching out to you on behalf of our dear friends Iva&Sammy Vasilev. Their daughter Jasmine was diagnosed last week with cyst in her brain and she needs an emergency surgery. Jasmyne is 13 years old. She has been all her life heathy and active, she suddenly had worrying symptoms - strong headache, pressure behind her eyes, blurry vision and vomiting. Her parents took her immediately to her practitioner. Next day check up with Neurologist and after MRI she was sent to ER. After further diagnostics, tests and MRI was found that she has rounded structure like Subarachnoid cyst or Colloid syst in her brain (within the anterior horn of the right, lateral ventricle, adjacent to the right foramen of Monro). The family does not have insurance, and although the surgery is considered emergency. The hospital is not open to work with them for payment plan. The family is looking for health insurance options, but until the insurance plans start coverage there will be months. To schedule the surgery, the hospital requires $60.000 upfront. There will be additional cost of $35.000 for the surgeon, anesthesiologist, physician and lab test services. Jasmine surgery will be taken at Sunrise Hospital. We kindly request each of you to help and support this beautiful young girl , who has so much future . We never know what life will bring us, but when we get together in difficult moments we can make a big difference.
