Funds for Moses Hesskew's Funeral
Donation protected
We are asking for the community's help with donations for funeral expenses for Moses Hesskew, 80. Moses has always been a hard working, loving man. Many of you from Blanco know him as the "watermelon man." Both of my grandparents would sit out on the square every summer selling watermelon. Recently Moses started battling dementia that has progressed so aggressively, that even the doctors were shocked. He has spent the last week in the hospital running test after test trying to determine what was causing his angry outbursts and altered mental status. During this process he suffered a stroke. The doctors told the family this has caused epilepsy as well. He came home from the hospital yesterday (10/8/14) and is now on hospice care. Today we were informed that he has maybe 48hrs left. We would be very appreciative of any amount that could be donated to our family for these unexpected cost. Please keep the whole Hesskew family in your prayers and God Bless!
