FlyWheel Maintenance Staff Midtown NYC
Donation protected
Hello fellow Torquers (and FlyBarre folk)!
As you may have seen, Flywheel has just temporarily laid off 98% of its workforce at this very difficult time.
From those that taught our classes to those that cleaned up after our sweaty asses, and did it all with a smile and a sense of community, there is little hope of finding other employment for the foreseeable future.
Thus, for those of us who are able to help out in any way, I thought that we could pull our resources to support the people who supported us every day at the Midtown East studio.
While there are many organizations to support at this time, I hope that we all can give back at least a little in tough times to those who have made our days a little bit brighter during our own good and tough times. Any amount is appreciated!
Please note: The plan is to distribute these funds to the maintenance staff who have worked at the Midtown East studio for at least the past three years.
Stay healthy, stay positive and this is a great time to think about others no matter how challenging things are for ourselves!
Best,
J Kress
N.B. A shout out to Sharon & JJ on the UES for the inspiration for this idea. I may live physically closer to Scarsdale, but Midtown East is my home.
