Send Me To Ireland Studies Conference

My name is Devon and I am a California high school student who has been personally invited to participate in a college level Irish Studies course IN IRELAND because the program has seen that I hold a true passion for Irish history, language and culture. However, the invitation is not enough to actually get me there. I need $2,300 for the 10-day intensive course and roughly $1,000 for the roundtrip flight tickets. Extra costs such as a new passport, course books and food for my trip will bring the total to a whopping $3,600....which I definitely do not have. Participating in this program will not only cater to my every dream of being in Ireland, studying about Ireland from Irish professors and making connections overseas that will last but ALSO will (hopefully) boost my chances of being able to pursue Irish studies in college and my overall future!
Since the program starts on January 5th, my deadline for this goal is mid-December. However, I am hoping to earn enough for flight tickets as soon as possible because they are the least expensive when bought earlier.
