This GoFund Me is to assist in funding a Residency only given out,.. to “One” pair of artists each year. Two artists on an uninhabited island with a non-operational lighthouse for the whole month of September. It is awarded by the National Parks Arts Foundation and the National Parks Service at Loggerhead Key in Dry Tortugas National Park.
We will be making paintings, photographs and a documentary that will astound. The documentary will be entered into national and international film festivals.
These funds will cover things such as a satellite phone, movie equipment, insurance, and supplies. This Residency is not awarded lightly and will be a milestone in our careers, bringing about deeper awareness to our environment, and the human experience disconnecting from society and social media to bond and create as closely to nature as humanly possible.
