Fly High Birdie ( Nok )

Hi Everyone , 

My name is Kathy the baby sister to Nok. My sister is the oldest out of us 3. She is such a loving mother , daughter , aunt , friend and sister. She is filled with jokes , laughter , life and her tough love. My sister is the best big sister anyone could ever ask for. She is the best aunt to her nieces and nephews. When she walks into a room get ready to laugh uncontrollably. She always came with jokes ready to go. Her name in our language means “ Bird “. My family & I would always crack jokes about her name. Never in a million years did my family & I expect this to happen to us. My sister was diagnosed with ampullary cancer in 2017. Something none of us have ever heard of .. and it blindsided our family. My sister has been battling this cancer with aggressive chemo every 2 weeks, countless of medication , so many doctors appointments , meeting so many specialist , countless of biopsy’s and so many tears shed. My sister was never a person who wanted someone to feel sorry for her. She worked even when she was on chemo and she lived a very normal life. You would’ve never known for her to have cancer unless she came out and told you. My sister is a fighter. She has two beautiful kids my niece & nephew ( Eric Jr & Naomi ) and her amazing husband Eric. He has been taking care of my sister around the clock.

Fast forward my sister has been going to chemo every two weeks and with her cancer progressing 2020 she decided herself to go into hospice .. it was a shock for us. Heartbreaking sums it up. As her health declines as we speak my sister is hanging on to be here with us as long as she can .. my brother in law will be faced with very heavy financial responsibilities due to not being paid from being off of work to be with my sister .. and many of us has been faced with unfortunate situations especially during this pandemic.

I started this go fund me to help him with financial responsibilities with my sisters hospital bills , financial responsibilities my sister had , help with his children and other financial obligations he may face. 

UPDATE ON MY SISTER ; She has gained her wings on 11/25/2020. As we move through this new journey in life we appreciate everyone for their donations. My family & I are forever grateful for everyone for their kind words , love and support
