Austin was diagnosed with a Astrocytoma Glioma Tumor deep in his left temporal in March of 2010.
In May of 2010 he had a full craniotomy to biopsy the neuro-specialists suspicions. In the last 4 years the tumor has advanced and he has endured 32 rounds of radiation and is currently receiving his second round of oral chemo.
In October of 2013 as a result of seizures (due to tumor) Austin was left with Todds Paralysis causing his whole right side permanent paralysis.
He spent 4 weeks in the hospital, 2 in which was not only covered 80% by the insurance company.
His wife lost her job in June of 2013 after many years due to grant funding and now with Austin being so terribly i'll is faced with the difficulty of leaving him to work as he needs round the clock care.
