Flowers initiative

The immediate family of Timothy flowers has agreed to accept contributions from those who are encouraged to give and support the family during this time of grieving. Timothy‘s mother Talena Banks made the strict decision of not holding a formal memorial for her son due to the current and ongoing matters surrounding his death at the hands of law-enforcement. With the spirit of forgiveness and to commemorate his life the family has announced The Flowers Initiative. This initiative has been created out of a Mother’s love for her son that never stops growing. The focus is to provide resources and knowledge to help reverse the mindset of poverty and hopelessness.

The Flowers Initiative will be planted in Rochester, Ny. A community that has been broken by tragedy and trauma in its inner city streets due to gun violence. We thank you in advance for your condolences and messages of comfort as the tribe is healing. We ask that the community partner with them and water the seed of change with each donation.
