Florina sucht Unterstützung, um ihren Traum von einem Studium an der Gordonstoun's Independent School in Schottland zu verwirklichen

 

Florina wurde in Schottland geboren und verbrachte ihre Kindheit auf dem Bauernhof ihrer Familie, La Jimena, in den Bergen der Sierra Nevada, Spanien.

 

Schon früh tauchte Florina in verschiedene Kulturen ein und lernte von den vielen Freiwilligen, die Zeit auf dem Hof verbrachten. Zusätzlich zu ihrer Muttersprache Deutsch hat sie sich Englisch und Spanisch beigebracht, beides auf einem fließenden Niveau. Sie hatte das Glück, in einer Umgebung zu leben, in der sie die Schönheit der spanischen Kultur und Tradition mit der Möglichkeit, viele Besucher aus so vielen verschiedenen Ländern zu treffen und von ihnen zu lernen, verbinden konnte.

 

Nach dem Tod ihres Vaters vor drei Jahren wurde Florinas Welt auf den Kopf gestellt. Mit der Unterstützung und Liebe ihrer Familie ist sie spirituell und persönlich gewachsen und hat ein neues Maß an Widerstandsfähigkeit entdeckt. Während ihrer Schulausbildung in Spanien hat sie ihre Familie auf dem Bauernhof unterstützt und ihr geholfen, ihr Leben wieder aufzubauen. Als Florina ihre Ausbildung in Spanien beendete, wurde es für sie jedoch Zeit, über sich selbst und ihre Zukunft nachzudenken.

 

Florina ist jetzt 16 Jahre alt und hat nicht nur eine große Lebensfreude, sondern auch viele Talente. Neben ihrem schulischen Erfolg in Spanien ist sie künstlerisch und musikalisch begabt und liest sehr viel. In den letzten schwierigen Jahren hat sie viel über persönliche und soziale Verantwortung gelernt und darüber, wie wichtig es ist, seinen Platz in der Welt zu finden. Die nächste Stufe der Ausbildung muss ihr persönliches Wachstum und ihre Entdeckungsreise unterstützen, während sie mehr über sich selbst herausfindet.

 

Nach eingehender Recherche hat sich Florina für die Gordonstoun's Independent School in Schottland entschieden, eine Schule mit einem breit gefächerten Lehrplan, der Teamarbeit, persönliche und soziale Verantwortung und Resilienz fördert. Deren Ethos, Enttäuschungen zu ertragen und sie in Erfolg umzuwandeln, hat Florina wirklich angesprochen, insbesondere nach allem, was sie durchgemacht hat. Die Möglichkeit, ihre Lebensperspektive zu erweitern und mit Gleichaltrigen aus der ganzen Welt zusammenzukommen, ist ein aufregender Traum für sie, und wir wollen diesen Traum wahr werden lassen!

 

Nach einem erfolgreichen Bewerbungsverfahren wurde Florina ein Platz in Gordonstoun's angeboten. Sie hat nun das erste Semester begonnen. Leider hat sich die versprochene Finanzierung verzögert, so dass wir nun dringend ausreichende Mittel benötigen, um Florina die Fortsetzung dieser unglaublichen Reise zu ermöglichen. Alle gesammelten Gelder werden ausschließlich für die Zahlung der Schulgebühren verwendet, bis die versprochene Finanzierung eintrifft. Wenn es jemals eine passende Verbindung gab, dann ist es die zwischen Gordonstoun's und Florina.

 

 

Jede Spende, ob klein oder groß, ist uns sehr willkommen und wird Florina helfen, ihren Traum zu verwirklichen.

Help Florina Rosenbusch achieve her dream of studying abroad

Florina is looking for support to achieve her dream of studying at Gordonstoun’s Independent School in Scotland.

Florina was born in Scotland and spent her childhood on the family farm, La Jimena, in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, Spain. 

From early in her life Florina has emersed herself in different cultures, learning from the many volunteers who have spent time on the farm. In addition to her native German, she has taught herself English as well as learning Spanish, both to a fluent level. She has been lucky enough to live in an environment where she has been able to mix the beauty of Spanish culture and tradition with the opportunities to meet and learn from so many visitors from so many different countries, broadening her horizons and shaping her view of the world.

Following the death of her Father, three years ago, Florina’s world was turned upside down. With the support and love of her family she has grown spiritually and personally and discovered new levels of resilience. Whilst still studying in Spain she has supported her family on the farm helping them all to rebuild their lives. However, as Florina finished her education in Spain it has become time for her to start thinking about herself and her future.

Florina is now 16 and as well as having a huge joy of life, has many talents. As well as achieving academic success in Spain, she is artistic and musical and a vociferous reader. Over the last few difficult years, she has learnt a lot about personal and social responsibility and the importance of finding the place in the world. The next stage of education needs to be able to support her personal growth and her journey of exploration as she finds out more about who she is. 

After doing much research, Florina has been drawn to Gordonstoun’s Independent School in Scotland, a school with a broad curriculum that encourages teamwork, personal and social responsibility, and resilience. Their ethos of withstanding disappointment and having the resilience to turn it into success has really connected with Florina, specifically after all she has been through. The opportunity to broaden her outlook on life as well as mixing with young people of her own age from all over the world is such an exciting dream for her and we want to make this dream come true!

After successfully going through an application process Florina has been offered a place at Gordonstoun’s. She has now started the first term. Unfortunately, the funding that was promised has been delayed and we are now in urgent needs to secure sufficient funds to allow Florina to continue on this incredible journey. Any fund raised will go solely to paying school fees until such time as the promised funding comes through. If there is ever match made in heaven it is between Gordonstoun’s and Florina.
