Florida Artist COVID-19 Relief Fund

This GoFundMe is for direct and immediate financial support to artists living in or born in Florida who have been financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Priority will be given to women, POC, LGBTQ+, but especially artists who are elderly, disabled, with children, pregnant, or medically compromised.
It is important to keep our communities alive. The precarious nature of our work makes times like these particularly hard as artists typically do not have health insurance or steady income and as a result of the quarantine, have had most if not all upcoming projects cancelled. We rely on exhibitions, commissions, and engagements for income and often have other side gigs to supplement (which have also been compromised). If you enjoy art and have resources available to donate, please do. Any amount can make a huge impact in someone's life.

100% of these funds will go to artists who have lost income due to cancellations and work stoppage due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is emergency funding to help artists in need with rent, food, utilities, and medical needs. The amount given to each artist is determined based on how many funds are received, how much artists have lost due to cancellations, and how many artists apply. A minimum of $100 and a maximum of $5000 will be given to each individual artist.
Funds will be sent electronically once a day. If you wish to see a record of payments sent please message me.
I am currently looking for trusted members/organizations of the art community to act as an accountability partner.
