Florence Releif

Janet Harris, Manager Business Applications Tech, that partners with the Beverage team, was greatly impacted by Hurricane Florence when it severely damaged parts of the Carolinas recently.  Janet’s home was flooded, with 4 feet of water throughout the house.  (see attached photos).  She and her family were able to escape and stay with family until the waters receded.

 Fortunately, she had homeowner’s insurance and will receive FEMA assistance, as well as some funds from the WestRock Employee Relief Fund, however, when there is so much damage, it usually is not quite enough to rebuild and put things back together.
