Help Our Family Who Lost Everything

Hi, my name is Bruna, I’m Brazilian living in Australia. I’m on holidays now in Brazil when this big tragedy is happening and we need help.

My hometown is suffering with several floods and my entire family lost everything like thousands of others in my city.

My family were rescued and taken to a safe place by boat because the water was already up to chest.

My family and our close family need help to rebuild their homes and their lives. My parents are over 60y and my dad lost his motorcycle, which was main part of his job, and like most people, he won't be able to go back to work anytime soon.

They lost all the furniture and everything, for now we don’t have any ideia about the situation of our house, still under water. They lost their old car as well, as the same as the motorcycle, they are still under the water and will be impossible to buy other.

Unfortunately the situation of this tragedy is more serious than it seems, the houses will spend days underwater. we don’t know yet if will be a week, 10 or 15 days. Friends are helping with shelter and clothes.

I created this link for friends who live abroad and who else wants to help and asked me how they could help in some way.

We are helping other people in shelters with food and clothes while our home is underwater.
