Flooding with Love
Donation protected
Some of you might have heard about the torrential rains that recently hit the Milwaukee area. One of the most saturated areas was Ozaukee County, where my sister and her family live. They received over 12 inches of rain in a week and woke up late Sunday night to the pictures you see above. Their basement was completely flooded under about 3 feet of water.
Nothing that was in the basement is salvageable and a lot of damage was done to their home. To make matters worse, since they don't have flood insurance (who does in the Midwest?!), they are faced with covering the cost of the repairs on their own.
Neither Phil nor Amanda know that I'm setting up this campaign. They have not asked for help; but I know they need it. I want to help my sister and her family and it's all I could think to do from 2,000 miles away.
So many of their friends have been helping them in numerous ways and I thank my God for all of you. If you're able to help out with a donation, I would greatly appreciate it.
