My Flooding In Pyothall

Donation protected
Just so everyone knows, my home was one of the ones flooded severely last night. I have absolutely nothing left and my memory boxes and family jewellery and sentimental things have been destroyed. I didnt have contents insurance and I'm in hospital waiting on surgery 13. I have crohn's disease and in the past year alone I've been on TPN, had sepsis twice and was nearly dead, two surgeries, and now I'm in again waiting on another. So this is already a lot to deal with.

At this point I give in. God wins. The universe wins. Who ever or whatever controls this world, they win. Give me a break. Give me time to reset and be actually happy.

I am lucky my family are here.
Everyone has been so supportive. I cant even see the damage or help out and I'm panicking about what i have to replace and about getting this surgery and what that entails.

I've lost my home, belongings, sentimental things that I can't ever get back. I've lost myself. There's rubbish in my home and wheelie bins and my furniture has smashed and precious books I'd saved from grandparents that passed away. It is just really hard to stay hopeful after all of this.

I'm okay. My family is okay. But I'm homeless and possessionless.
Also, I lost my car. Mine is the maroon one that has been submerged.
