Flood-affected Afghan children need your help.

Hi, I am a member of the Smile for Afghan children and Youth organization (SACYO). A non-profit organization licensed under number 5287 has been operating since 2019. Our programs and goals are to help vulnerable children and those in orphanages, in order to change the social, educational, and psychological status of children in accordance with their future goals.

Afghanistan is going through difficult times these days. We need urgent help for displaced children from the last floods in Afghanistan!

As we all know, hundreds of Afghan homes were destroyed because of the last floods in many provinces of Afghanistan and based on that, now most families with their children live in camps. Besides having no home and no clothes, children have no access to educational materials (books, stationery). Therefore, we are going to prepare those things for 400 children among the 4000 children from six camps who are eligible for this program.

We are holding a two-day recreational and educational camp for children, and these things are what we buy for 400 children.

Clothing and boots, story books for children over 5 years old, sports and recreational equipment such as balls, cricket equipment, playing blocks, children's game cards, Ping-Pong, stationery

Our team will cover up to 400 children in the first stage. We will provide 20$ per child, which means we need to raise $8,000USD ($10,620.36CAD) considering the fees associated with every donation. The collected amount would be transferred through Western Union to our team members in Afghanistan. Our organization's team members will use the fund to purchase $20 worth of all the mentioned materials for each child.
