Flood Fund for Galusha Family

We are the Galusha family. Jason and Mary Jo, Justin, Jaxson and Jaydon, we are now displaced by the flood waters of the Missouri River. Caused by the levy breech, due west of our former home. What was once a warm and loving environment, is now destroyed.  We lived through the flood of 2011 and survived that, but, due to time, money, and circumstances we were unable to continue our flood insurance coverage. Therefore our home, the belongings, and even every day necessities are gone. In the rush, even Justin, the oldest, forgot his school computer and backpack. We truly believed the waters would not rise to the levels that we are now witnessing. So mementos we presumed safe, are no longer. Wedding photos, baby pictures of our three sons, sports awards- gained by the boys, and even Jason's mothers ashes will be gone.

We consider ourselves kind and giving people, and if we had anything at this moment to give, we would. Even as we write this, we feel guilty for asking others for help. We are blessed to be alive and together. That is more than some families now have. For all of you who may know us, you already morn our loss with us. For those of you who are meeting us on this page now, we send our deepest thanks, and heart felt gratitude to you for even considering sharing some of your hard earned financial blessings.
