Flight School for Single Mom

My name is Kourtney, and I'm a student pilot in Virginia. After having my daughter and suddenly becoming a single parent, finishing flight school has become a challenge. I am a flight attendant on leave due to covid and 1 year of parental bonding and I'd love to make this next year as productive as possible. Banks do not offer loans for flight schools without a co-signer, and paying for school out of pocket would take me 3x as long to finish. I currently have 16 hours towards my Private Pilot's license with 4 hours ahead to fly solo and 24 hours ahead to finish the certificate. My dream is to obtain a commercial license so I can raise my daughter to have a good life and that I won't fall short and fail her because I'm a single parent. I am raising money to help pay for half of the cost to complete my certifications up to a Certified Flight Instructor. Thank you for your donations, and for making my dream come true.
