Flavor Commissary of Lansing is a food incubator space for start-up and small food businesses in the greater Lansing area. We are primarily focused on providing storage and prep space for food trucks because that was a resource we struggled to find when we started our own food truck (Veg-n) in 2019.
Our goal is to help any food business looking to find their community. In fact, we already have 3 local businesses (Veg-n, Menu Bubble, & Koala's Pantry) signed on to use the space to launch or expand existing business.
We are fundraising to help us cover some of the extra costs necessary for launching, for example hooking up our commercial gas equipment and replacing parts in used equipment to make it work again. As a food business it is nearly impossible to get loans, and so we are reaching out to the community for support.
We want to help make Lansing thrive, and it all starts here. Together we are gonna kick Lansing's flavor up a notch!
