Keep the Tinies in Flatbush!

UPDATE: We deeply appreciate all the incredible support and help we've gotten so far, but we are still officially in a crisis. We have, as they say, "fallen on hard times" and are in real danger of losing our home, imminently. We will NOT be able to stay here and print our book in time for the holidays unless we can raise at least $9,000 before September 30th.

The Flatbush Tinies will be the ex-Flatbush Tinies unless we can figure this out in a hurry. We know this is a lot of money, and not a lot of time, but we are truly out of options and we need all the help we can get. We really appreciate anything you can do, all your donations and shares mean the world to us.  We mean it. All of us.

Hello!


We are Jena and her mom Carole, the "Twoleggeds" who belong to Mona, Mak and Mingus, the cats known collectively as the "Flatbush Tinies".

This is our urgent fundraiser to keep a roof over our heads and raise the resources needed to complete the production of the first Flatbush Tinies book in time for a Christmas 2018 release.

In the last three years our kitty clan has built up a loyal online following, and we're sure that their quirky style will make a fantastic gift book (and set of greeting cards, and tee shirts, and more). Frankly, they've already had us working long hours on this project (with our opposable thumbs), but there's just no way we'll be able to finish it without your help.

IMPORTANT: A small print run of a quality photo book is expensive. Our research tells us we need nearly half the funds to finance the printing costs alone. Printing a book also takes time. As in weeks. (And then there's the shipping!) We can do this! But in order to make our tight holiday deadlines, we've got just a few short weeks from TODAY to raise the funds and make it all happen.  (Hey, we thrive on challenges!)

All this to say that we need some serious help, urgently.

Um...The Flatbush Tinies would like to introduce themselves to...everybody. Tinies, everybody. Everybody, Tinies.

TINIES:
Nice to meet you! We are Mak (big brother), Mingus (runty brother) and Mona (delicate but flubby-soft girlcat sisterpuss). Three years ago, we were rescue-saved from hard street life by a very nice Rescue FriendLady from  FAT Cats  which is whole Flatbush Area Team of Cats  - who gave us to our Twolegged. We look very fancy, ‘cause somewhere in our handed down jeans were Siamese clothings, which are for fancy catpeople. Troof is, we are normal-like Brooklyn street catpeople, but dressed up fancy. 

We are called Tinies because we used to look all tiny like this:


We want to finish real book thing of us and our ‘ventures, and tea shirts too, for gift-gifting at TreeinHouse holiday time, which is our most favorite moment of time.

Book
This entertaining book is not a children’s book, it's a book for everybody! It will be a high quality photo and typography-based foray into the stories, the world, the many adventures of the Flatbush Tinies, told in their own quirky voices. It's  a humorous, anecdotal dive into the relationships and lives of 3 talkative rescue cats in Brooklyn.

Time is short! We will have our initial print run ready for distribution and sales in time for the 2018 holiday season!
 
Tee Shirts
These will have illustrations of The Flatbush Tinies, with their funny comments.

Website
Flabushtinies.com will be their home base and will feature news of the Tinies, their glossary, current adventures, new pictures, fan comments, etc. It will also house the store so we can sell books and Tinies merchandise to the public. 

Marketing and Promotion
We'll need some advertising, some marketing, some promotion of our project, both online and off.

Dollars for Lord of Land, and for celery and fishes
Twolegged and Elder Twolegged need pay many dollars for Lord of Land so can stay in our house. (We have never seen dis Lord but we think is a very much scary twolegged.) Anywayhow, since our Twoleggeds are so much brokeded (yesh, is a common thing happening to creative twoleggeds), need merging-sea dollars for home and fishes and book and tea shirts.

We are so much lucky that Twolegged is a professional master of webs and also of designs! She does for her quote-quote "work" and I know this because sometimes we help her, and we know it takes many moments of time. So what happened is was that she's needing a celery for all this time-taking to make our stuffs. Will need dollars for all that time and too also, to buy foods for Elder Two. Got dis?

HUMANS:
