The Sound Of Life - Short Film

Hello! My name is Maria Meneses and I am in the process of bringing a story that involves issues that are so present in many people lives and I want to bring to life.

The story represents that marginalized group of people; victims of mental and physical abuse. It tells the story of millions of young women who are fighting for a better tomorrow for not just themselves but for their family as well.

The story is about a a young woman Cecilia, who lives in an abuse household who feels trapped without hope for a better life. Living with an abusive father, deaf mother and eager to leave brother the story unfolds over the many challenges not just Cecilia has to face but her family as a whole for a better future.

Bringing this story to life will not only raise awareness but it will give the victims a voice.
