Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge

Myself and a few mates will be attempting the 3 Yorkshire Peaks on the 5th December. Still today there is a big stigma with men speaking out about mental health, we want to spread awareness in the hope that we can encourage people to seek help in a non- judgemental environment, in which they can get anything off their chest in the groups they provide. The ANDYSMANCLUB is a very close charity to our hearts, so it would mean the world if we could all come together and make a difference.

Data from the Office of National Statistics reveals that in 2019 the male suicide rate for England and Wales was the highest it has been for two decades, with around three-quarters of registered suicide deaths among men (4,303 deaths compared with 1,388 female deaths). The highest age-specific suicide rate was of men between the ages of 45 to 49 years.

We facilitate non professional peer to peer support groups across the Uk and Scotland for any man to attend over 18. We provide a confidential non judgemental space for men to come together to chat about anything that they would like to get off of their chest. We have no waiting list, no referral or signing in process.
