Ryan Schug’s Road To Recovery!

Donation protected

Update 6/15: We wanted to Thank every single person who has said a prayer for Ryan, donated and shared his story we couldn’t of reached our goal without all of your love and support. Ryan is still recovering and will be starting physical therapy next week. Unfortunately with that he will be out of work for another 6 weeks to 2 months if everything goes as planned.

His medical bills are coming in and they are more than what we thought and unfortunately that doesn’t include his physical therapy that he will be starting.

We have had family, friends and strangers reach out to us to ask if we are still taking donations and I wanted to let everyone know that we still are ! I want Ryan to be as stress free as possible and focus on healing. We are so blessed and so so very thankful for every single person who has helped us so far and continue to help in anyway they can. Please keep the prayers going for Ryan they are helping!

Hi everyone, my name is Kristina Schug I am Ryan’s Sister in Law.

As some of your may heard...

On Thursday June 3rd, two armed men tried robbing a store that Ryan and his step son Nate were at. As soon as Ryan saw the guns without hesitation tried fighting one of the guys to get the gun away but when Ryan fell one of the shooters shot twice hitting him both times one shot in the left shoulder and the other in the left bicep. Ryan’s main concern was that they were going to shoot everyone in the store  so he was going to do what he could to make sure no one got injured even if that meant him getting shot him self. If He didn’t make that move who knows how many lives would of been taken.

Luckily the bullets exited and didn’t hit anything major and he was able to walk away from the hospital the same night. We are so blessed that the good Lord was watching over him. Unfortunately the guys got away so the investigation could take some time.

Ryan and his Dad Rod own a fencing company and are self Employed, so unfortunately Ryan did not have medical when this occurred.

That’s why I wanted to start this Go Fund Me page. We don’t know how long Ryan will be out of work and we want to make sure he’s able to focus on healing and not worrying about the bills coming in.

We wanted to truly thank each and everyone one of you who have reached out to the family and offered a helping hand. For the prayers for the donations for the love and support for an amazing man is truly meaningful.

Ryan would literally give his shirt off his back for anyone so him doing something like this just shows how Brave and Courageous he is.

I wanted to add that Nate is doing well, he was right there by Ryan’s side and even though he was in shock with what he just saw he stepped in to help with anything he could and started comforting everyone making sure they were all okay.

From the whole Schug family Rod, Terrie, Chad and myself your prayers, your love your support mean everything to us. Please continue to Pray as Ryan goes through this healing process.

Reanna who is Ryan’s amazing GF wanted to Thank everyone for calling to check in on Ryan, the kids and also herself to make sure that they are okay it truly means to the world to her.
