Please help me stay in college

Hi my name is Darnell King McCray and I am 22 years old. I live with my mother and my two younger sisters. I am a college student at Pace University at the Pleasantville Campus. I am a junior in my class and I am to graduate in the year 2020. My grade point average is 3.2 My passion is football and my dream is to one day become a great football player. I understand that no matter what you want to be in life it will not be complete if I don’t have an education. I just don’t want to be a football player, I want to be  an educated  football player. I want to pursue my education to the highest level I’m allowed to. My mother has always done her best to make sure my siblings and I lacked nothing but mostly she made sure education was our top priority. Unfortunately last year in November 2017, my mom started getting sick and as time passed by she got sicker and sicker. Her sickness caused her to resign  from her job and now she will not be able to help pay for my college tuition. I tried not to burden my mother with the paperwork for this semester afraid that with all these college expenses and her with not enough income will put stress on her health so I tried doing things on my own but I failed because I didn’t  apply for Tap and when I went to apply it was already too late and now my school will not allow me to start this semester as a sophomore unless I pay for this semester. My mother always helped with all my paper work and made sure that it was done correct and sent out in time and all she wanted me to worry about was making sure I kept my grades up and had no worries when I was taking an exam or doing my homework or playing on the field or had practice.   I really don’t want to take any semesters off all because I failed to file one piece of paper and I don’t want to stress my mother’s health  by her worrying about how we going to come up with the money to pay for this semester in such a short amount of time. I don’t want this situation to discourage me from my education and my dream as a football player. I ask with a humbled heart that you please find it in your hearts to please help me continue this semester in college by donating whatever you are able to.
