First year classroom in Taiwan!

Hello everyone! My name is Rosie (or Ms. Burnham, as I’ll be known in a few weeks!) and I am a first year teacher starting my career in a bilingual school in Tainan, Taiwan. As many of you know, teachers are often expected to supply their classroom using out-of-pocket funds. This means a lot of additional expenses for us newbies, who haven’t had time to collect our favorite rugs or posters!

As an English teacher in Taiwan, classroom materials can be even more expensive as many items must be shipped from overseas. I’m starting this fund to help me get my new classroom stocked with supplies for my first and second graders, who need everything from pencils and paper to English books to new chalk for our board. Any amount donated will be a great help to us, and if you would like to donate specific educational items, please reach out to me—anything is greatly appreciated!
