FIRST Robotics Team 7770 "Infinite Voltage"

Hi, my name is Patrick and I'm the Project Manager for FIRST Robotics Team 7770 "Infinite Voltage". Every year beginning in January, our team of high school students build a new robot from scratch, uniquely designed to meet the rigor of that year's FIRST Robotics competition. We, the students, design and build the robot; from cutting drilling and bolting, to selecting and connecting motors and pneumatics, to programming onboard processors to remotely operate everything on the robot. We do it all! While the rigors of competition are real, outreach to other teams is equally real as all teams come together to support each other in the "pits" during competition. We do what we can to fundraise (car washes, hosting events at restaurants, candy sales, etc.), but we have to rely heavily on grants and charitable contributions to meet our annual budget of $15,000+. We re-use as much of the robot as possible each year but build costs are typically $5,000, and team registration and fees for Regional competition are approximately $10,000 each year. Our team will greatly appreciate any help you can provide.
