First responder in need of emergency funds

Donation protected
As a Emergency medical  technician for the past 25 years, my husband has been the very first person on the scene of some pretty horrific  calls. Living in Colorado we also deal with a very high suicide rate, which these first responders see day in and day out.  These calls are extremely  hard on the first responders, especially  when dealing with children.
My husband, unfortunately is one of those first responders who has been diagnosed with severe PTSD.
We have 2 children, a 13 year old and a 7 year old with Down Syndrome. As a family, we have done the most we can for him until now.
My husband only works per diem at this point because his PTSD is to severe to work any more than that., therefore neither of us get any health benefits through work.
Last night, it became apparent to many of his friends, family and co workers that he needs to go to a 30 plus day rehabilitation center that is specifically for first responders with PTSD.  We have come across a grant for most of the money, but are still short the ten thousand dollars we need for him to enter the facility  May 1.
This treatment may be the only thing that saves his life and my children 's ability to have a healthy daddy again.
This facility is amazing, and it has helped so many first responders get their lives back.
