Fire took our home and our baby boy

Donation protected
On September 18th, 2020 our world flipped upside down. He was working front line on the castle fire and I was mobile support bringing clean clothes & turnouts and food along with other needs for fellow crew members. A knock on the door from the TC sheriff dept at 7am and I was told to go home and not told why. 10 mins later he walked in with tears in his eyes and said our home caught fire. I asked where are the kids he said Layla is fine shes with your brother sitter is fine Hes home. I asked where’s My son? His eyes swelled up with tears. I yelled at him where’s my son?! He said honey, bubbas didn’t make it. I fell to floor crying and screaming. He sat there with me for an hr. I couldn’t get up off the floor and he picked me up and sat me on the couch and said baby girl, I love you but we need to pull it together for Kids. So let’s pack up and go. After talking with my brother and fully DEMOBING, it was 1pm. The drive was the longest 2 hours of my life. We turned the corner on our road only to find cameras in our face and our home with our son was gone. We lost everything a total loss. We have to completely start over with one less child. This is our son Max. Born April 8th,2018 - fell asleep September 18th, 2020. For those that knew him, he loved Monster Jam especially “Maximum Destruction” aka “MAX-D”. He was a very happy baby boy and he loved everyone! He hated clothes and you could find him in cowboy boots and boxers. He loved dozers dumb trucks basically any kind of trucks or tractors. His favorite word was “bullshit”. He loved to ride dirt bikes with big brother and pester his 3 sisters. He loved his mommy and he’d wake me up “ Mommy, awake up! Mommy I want cereal NOW!” Then give me squishy face kisses. Max may have never know his bio father but he has a daddy. A daddy who he looked up to and loved so much. A daddy he couldn’t wait to get on quad ride with a “poppa wheely” and grinng from ear to ear so excited. His daddy loves him more than I could have imagined. Yes he may have to been only 2 1/2 years old but he had a very happy fun exciting adventurous loving life with his 4 older siblings, mommy and daddy. We love you and miss you so much bubbas! You will be at rest soon. ❤️
