Firefighting Pilot Andrew’s Family Support
Donation protected
We all know the cost of doing business in the rotary aviation world. We all talk to our friends and coworkers about our wishes in the event that we paid the price for our profession and how we would be there for each other. Now is a great time to make good on those promises.
The Helicopter Aviation community lost one of its best last week in a horrible accident with a fire-fighting helicopter in Leesburg, FL. It was an event that would have never been foreseen by a pilot of this caliber. A true steward of the profession in the search for knowledge and discipline in his performance. Drew was a veteran Warrant Officer of the U.S. Army, having paid his dues to his country with a deployment to Afghanistan.
This sudden loss has placed an unbearable burden on his family left in the wake of tragedy. If you happen to reach out to us all that is asked is to be discrete with information out of respect for our fallen brother and his family.
If you prefer to donate immediately anonymously, feel free to contact any one of us for a direct transfer (Venmo, Paypal etc).
