Hurricane Ian House Fire Victim Go Fund Me

Donation protected
Hi, My name is Hannah Kiger. I am a Key West Local, and I've created this Go Fund Me page on behalf of Dawson Drinnan. Dawson was watching a movie early this morning when he thought he smelled smoke. After going outside, he saw his apartment complex going up in flames. Flooding in the area from Hurricane Ian had started an electrical fire from one of the businesses downstairs. Rather than running back inside to gather what he could of his belongings, Dawson made the selfless decision to start banging on his neighbors' doors to wake them up to get them to safety. Dawson is a 20-year-old boy with no family in Key West and is originally from
Indiana. He works full-time at Sebago Watersports on the boats, and his hobbies include dirt biking and helping fix cars. This devastating fire left him with nothing but clothes on his back. Dawson is the type of person willing to help out anyone in need and will always put other people first, exemplified this morning when he chose to leave everything behind to save his neighbors. Even if you can't donate monetarily, please message me if you have any other types of donations or any leads on affordable housing or community resources for this kind of tragedy. Thank you!
