Fire Relief Fund for The Brothers

On January 22, 2018, CUNY Department of Public Safety Members of Service; CPL Danielle Brothers and CSA Shareese Brothers were forced to evacuate their home due to a three alarm fire that occurred at a fifth floor apartment.  Due to the excessive water used to extinguish the fire and the age of the building, the family is incapable of entering to retrieve whatever they can salvage of their personal belongings. We are asking that all members of the Department of Public Safety, CUNY wide to please help and provide the funding necessary for the Brothers Family to start over.  A fire is a devastating event for anyone to go through and unfortunately even as city employees, we will encounter limitations for assistance through the City of New York and some private agencies.  It is up to us as a “family” to help our own and to continue this tradition of assistance to all who serve in Public Safety.
