Single Mom and Daughter Lost All in Fire: UPDATE!

Hi, my name is Jenny.  I am from Woodland Park, Colorado and I have created this page for my sweet friend, Jessica and her 5-year old daughter, Jasmine, pictured above. 

Several months ago, they bravely moved away from their long-term community in South Carolina to Colorado for health reasons. They recreated their home and homeschool classroom at the Element Hotel in Superior, CO while pursuing specialty medical care. Their hotel burned down in the Marshall Fire on December 30th, along with all of their valuables, household goods, school supplies, Christmas gifts, food, medications and personal belongings. Jessica, Jasmine and their dogs escaped the fire, but lost everything except for their vehicle. They are in crisis and in need of immediate support.

 

Both Jessica and Jasmine have significant health issues including severe food and environmental allergies, making them unable to utilize typical emergency shelters and food pantry items. They are in immediate need of monetary donations to cover hotel bills as they relocate, soy-free/gluten-free foods (celiac), Jasmine's pancreas medications, homeschool supplies, new clothing, a laptop, personal care items, air purifiers, toys, and other similar essential goods.

We are so grateful for the donations that have come in so far to help Jess and Jasmine put their life back together, and ask that you spread the word!
