Lilac Fire Recovery - Shanon Beach

The Lilac Fire started at noon on Thursday, December 7, 2017.  Within two hours it had grown to 150 acres, and eventually thousands of acres.  Shanon and her mom had minutes to evacuate and left with only the clothes on their backs and their dogs. The horse, Zip, is unaccounted for.  Both women lost their homes. 

Shanon works at Palomar College.  Her family has a long history of being part of the Palomar team.  Please consider making a donation to help Shanon and her mom through the difficulty of suddenly losing everything in the Lilac fire.
