Fire on Whispering Pines Culedesac
Donation protected
Fires can be devastating, and unfortunately, a devastating fire caused by lightning hit our close, dear neighbors' house tonight. Although the fire department responded quickly, our neighbors, Terry and Brenda, are now faced with a situation full of uncertainty, the loss of their house, and their personal belongings being destroyed.
In TreeTops, we are a close-knit community and so many neighbors have already stepped up and offered to help. It's amazing to see how many people care about others in their community, especially in a time of tragedy.
This go-fund-me page will serve as a place to show we care and would like to do something to help in this time of sadness and loss. The funds will help our neighbors, Terry and Brenda, with their immediate needs as they figure out their next steps.
We will also be collecting sympathy/loss cards, or any sentiments to brighten their day. In a situation where someone has lost all of their personal belongings (family photos, artwork, family heirlooms, memories from kids/grandkids, etc.) kind words can go a long way.
Please drop off cards/gifts/donations to 1412 Whispering Pines Drive anytime Thursday, 9/6 or Friday, 9/7 *.
We would like to give them the Neighborhood Gift on Sunday, 9/9, but can always extend our fundraising.
Thank you, everyone, for supporting some great people!
