Teacher's Family Lost All to Fire

This Thanksgiving holiday has led us to reflect on the many blessings in our lives.  Wonderful children, great friends, a beautiful and warm, loving home filled with kids, dogs, cats and bunnies.  The people and things that populate our lives are so valuable.  Our children attend an awesome school, with teachers who support them, challenge them and stretch them.  We really want for nothing.  What we don’t realize is how that can change in an instant.  Whether it’s a sudden illness or accident, hardship can be sudden and devastating.  That is true for a family that our school community respects and loves.  A member of that collection of wonderful teachers at our children’s school lost his family home and everything they had in it to fire.  Imagine losing your home, your furnishings, your clothes, your personal items – everything but the clothes on your back. Their three beloved pets perished as well, adding to the overwhelming heartbreak.  On this weekend of Thanksgiving, they are searching for a place to live, relying on us, their community, to help in whatever way we can.  So, we are starting this GoFundMe page to support Mr. Donley and his family, one of the best teachers ever.  He and his wife and young children need our support.  Will you help?
