Fire Fund for Kirsten and Mitch

Donation protected
Kirsten and Mitch lived in a beautiful Queenslander just outside Dalby at Kaimkillenbun, Qld. Due to a fire just after midnight on 09.12.19, the house was completely destroyed. Mitch, who was home at the time, was luckily woken by his dog (who wins the best dog award) and just made it out alive with the clothing on his back. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to put out the fire as it spread too quickly, and had no time to remove any of their worldly possessions. Kirsten was out of town at the time so only had an overnight bag. 7 News Toowoomba article link  The resulting loss is devastating, everything has perished. They are now distraught and displaced without a roof over their heads, no clothing, furniture, linens, memorabilia or heirlooms, possessions or personal effects, and all just weeks before Christmas and a 'happy' new year. Estimated damage is hard to guess, with a lot of items irreplaceable due to sentiment. There is no insurance payout as they were not covered. Please help by spreading the word for more exposure for potential donors, and donating cash so they can rebuild their lives as quickly as possible. They will  need the donations to replenish immediate necessities such as a roof over their heads, clothing, food, white goods, appliances, furniture for every room, new identification documentation and of course a lot of well wishes and support. Mitch loved his fishing, camping and relaxing at home, and Kirsten loved her music memorabilia collections, photography and family heirlooms. They would love to replace their treasured possessions such as fishing rods, gear, lures, tackle, swag and camping supplies, collectible music memorabilia (ticket stubs, autographed books, vinyls, limited edition posters, guitar picks and drumsticks, tour t-shirts etc), cameras, personal computers and photography programs. Many personal family heirlooms we understand cannot be replaced, only memories of those remain, but in being to help them replace basic necessities and some of the much loved memorabilia and staple items such as furniture, cooking equipment etc  will go a long way to help them start a new chapter in life going forward.
