Fire Destroyed It All

Hug your loved ones a little tighter today, cherish each moment and let them know how much you love them. Life is so incredibly precious. We say this far too often without really looking inward until something truly tragic strikes.
On Tuesday morning, at 4:30am, tragedy struck my brother's family and their house burned down. Thank God the family is safe and everyone escaped, but this puts everything into perspective. Usually one of the heaviest sleepers I know, my brother woke up on Tuesday morning hearing a raucous thinking someone was breaking into their home only to find out that his home was on fire. He rushed into action to make sure his family was safe and got everyone out of the house.  All of that being said, their house has burned to the ground and they've lost everything.
Although my brother may be furious at me for doing so, it is the holidays and helping them rebuild their lives is my top priority. They have two children and anything that you are able to contribute to help them rebuild would be so incredibly appreciated. I cannot imagine having to start from scratch for just myself, let alone an entire family. My prayers go out to other families who have lost their home during these awful fires.
