This GoFundMe is for our little man, Jax.
One day we noticed our 15 month old cat was having diffulty breathing, so we took him to the Emergency Room. Once there they did blood work, imaging, tests, and provided him with oxygen. After multiple hours we were told he seems to have FIP.
FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) is a disease that would usually be 100% fatal. Cats get this disease when a strand of coronavirus, which most cats are exposed to, mutates. There are no FDA approved treatments or cures for FIP. However, our vet did recommend we look into FIP Warriors on Facebook. They provide an experimental medication called GS, which has an 85-90% success rate in curing FIP. We would inject Jax for 84 days in hopes of curing his FIP and saving his life!
This GoFundMe is to pay for ER bills, medication, future blood work and imaging, and supplies needed to care for our little warrior. Any help financially is appreciated!! Prayers for us and Jax are requested as well.
