Medical Treatment for Misty

After losing Bella, our 19 yr-old cat, in October 2019.. we decided to rescue and give a loving home to Misty and her sister Ellie (both at the time 4 months) and an adult cat, Celty (1 yr).
Misty was a very cuddly kitten who loved to snuggle with everyone she met!
After some time, Misty had a rapid decline in appetite and we noticed that she refused to eat. We offered her a variety of different foods. Still, Misty was not eating.
She had barely eaten for a week and she was having trouble being stable while walking, making us extremely worried, so we took her to the vet. The vet informed us that she may have FIP (Feline infectious peritonitis) which, from our understanding, is a quick viral disease because once the virus mutates, without treatment, it can be fatal.
That day, we began our research. We bought feeding syringes so Misty would continue getting the nutrients her body needs. We isolated her from her sisters, afraid that her sisters may try to play too rough with her or they may contract the disease.
In our research, we found a group on Facebook, FIP Warriors, which is made up of other cat owners who are currently experiencing or have experienced FIP. Scrolling through the page, we read about several success stories. Cats with FIP were receiving treatment and their health did a complete 180!
Finally... we had hope!
We purchased about 8 days worth of the treatment. However, due to the extremely high costs of treatment, it is beyond our financial capability to afford all 84 doses that is necessary to completely cure Misty.
