FIONA AND HER 10 PUPS NEED HELP

FIONA was in a pound in the north of Spain, Ribeira. She was dumped there with no mercy along with her sister Tara. Tara was adopted and she was left behind.
A woman saw FIONA on Facebook and went to the pound to adopt her, she came straight from France and took her. Some weeks later the local volunteer discovered she hadn't been spayed as she was supposed to, not only that but she had had a litter of 10 puppies! Fiona became probably pregnant in the pound. It is a real disgrace, but the pound of Ribeira keeps unneutered males and females together in kennels, so instead of stopping the "abandonment" plague, they even make it worse.
After some weeks of silence, the woman wanted them all out, Fiona and her new born pups. Fiona was dumped again, this time, with her babies... and had no place to go.
This woman didn't even bother to bring her back to Ribeira but left them half way in one of the cities of northern Spain where a volunteer managed to meet her, and take the pups into the only kennels that would take a mum + 10 new born and un-vaccinated pups. They charged a fortune for the 6 days they were there, but there was no alternative, no emergency foster stepped forward.
Eventually, a lovely emergency foster in Valencia stepped forward and they have just travelled there today. We are in desperate need of funds for this family as they all need to be microchipped, vaccinated, tested... Fiona needs to be spayed and blood tested, and they will all probably need to the UK if no suitable adopters are found in Spain.
The bill for 11 dogs is massive, only the transport to the UK for each dog will cost 280 euros. We are looking at over 2000 pounds, but this fund-raiser is to at least ensure their new start in life is possible: their microchipping, vaccionations, Fiona's spaying, blood tests and transports.
