Finnick's open heart surgery
Finnick Fry has decided to come 5 weeks earlier than expected and came with another surprise as well. After being born his body was unable to use the oxygen rich blood from his lungs. After an emergency transfer to the children's hospital we discovered he has a congenital heart defect. Finnick is affected by transposistion of the great artireis. TGA is a rare defect and he is 1 of 3 that will be seen this year at the Children's Hospital of Illinois. TGA requires lifelong visits to the cardiologist for continuous care. We are at a loss as we never thought something like this would happen. Please help us to be with our son during this trying time. We will use your donations for travel and medical expenses.
