Drama AKA Finley The Survivor

Finley was found on the streets of South Carolina a few weeks ago with his face torn up and his eye bulging out of his head. Used as a bait dog (other dogs were trained to attack him for the cruel world of dog-fighting) he has known nothing but pain. His eye has been removed and his face has been stitched up. We volunteered to
foster him through a local rescue group and he was brought up to New Jersey. We instantly fell in love the minute we saw him and decided to adopt him.
Finley is heartworm positive, has missing skin, scabs and scars all over his sore body, he is underweight to where we can count every rib, and he has missing and filed down teeth. After everything he has been through, he is the sweetest dog. He lets us brush him, clean his ears, and put his coat on to go outside. This little boy
should hate humans for what they have done to him, but he just wants love and affection.  We are trying to give him a fighting chance and the life that he deserves. Currently he is battling a respiratory infection
and we are trying our best for it to not develop into pneumonia. With the cold weather it is so hard on his lungs. When he gets strong enough he will have to go through the grueling process of heartworm treatment. Thank you so much for
