Finding light in the dark: Beating Depression
I have been fighting this disease, manic depression, for many years. I have tried many medicines. They can work for awhile. Then you reach a plateau. I am a happy person but when this darkness finds me, it turns my world upside down. I have a job. I love what I do for a living. I feel it was a calling from God. People touch my life as well as I do theirs.
I have tried different treatments with no change. However, there is a new non-invasive treatment available that I have
been approved. I have had to be out of
work so I am having financial problems.
With this disease, you get to the point
where you feel there is no hope. That is
where family and friends are so vital to
healing. They are your light. They pray
with you. They continue to tell you
“there is hope”.
So, I am taking the chance, reaching out,
asking for support. I want to try this treatment. Give myself a chance at true happiness.
I would appreciate any support.
